The Music Era From Iron Maiden to Lady Gaga: 1975-2011

The early years when the beatles and the same started their music they were technologically deprived as much as the hassles involved in creating music. Marvellous was the the music of their Era and decades later as refinement of technology set in musicians were able to exploit every facet of the available technology. But the conundrum of what really defines music is blotched and severely misinterpreted today.
I remember listening to Led Zepplin, Metallica, Deep purple, Iron Maiden and many more artists from different genres decades ago. It was a thrilling experience and something worth reminiscing.

Madonna was one such beautiful artist of the early years when electronics were being used to help with music creation for multitude of purposes.

Each track was a beautiful melody and expressed freedom and liberation and its semantics without obsession. The audience were truly blessed in a concert played by one of these true artists. No inhibitions, no cliches, no double standards and every artist was different and original. There was never a doubt created in your mind about what really freedom meant and just to imagine to overcome all the obstacles of life and the never ending reality that everyone is faced with to just be able to create something that means nothing but the basic expression of it defines freedom in a certain way to people.

Back early on there were no cellphones, no mp3's whatsoever, television exposure was limited, getting music equipment was a daunting task and owning a single instrument meant a lot, all you were left with were a casette player with a radio inbuilt and not to mention no computer's or laptops.

Communication was of utmost importance and just to be able to pass a message to someone was a procedural method and where every word someone spoken or said mattered. People were more perceptive and had a bigger dimension to their thinking. One's exposure to media was a drizzle

The electronica music was pure pleasure- to mention just one--> Kruder & Dorfmeister.

All of this reflected in the music being made. Today the scenarion is much different with new fledging artists coming up every year with mainstream focus mostly being hip-hop and pop.

When one listen's to these new artists you immidiately are filled with a feeling of frustration and resentment. The mind immediately fills with doubt. Be aware that comparing music artists and justifying them on that basis is inapropriate. But the very approach of these new artists over a period of time gets disgusting and pretentious and the very meaniing of fun gets highly offensive. Technology usage and depiction is extremely opulent and not once to a single degree is it appealing in any way.

Freedom is what this is not, but rather a mockery of exercise of freedom. Unaware of what freedom really means and to be able to use it in ways one would, reflects in their music. Trying to sell music that really is'nt worth anything berates the youth in a wrong way.

Being capable and revolting, the energy of every individual needs to translate to something worthy. Otherwise one is better off doing nothing thus to be able to judge oneself and respect the laws.
