Orange Fruit Dip

Oranges are a nutritional fruit, with many health benefits like making your skin look more nourished, and giving it a smooth feel. It is a good source of vitamin C, vitamin B and vitamin A and contains flavonoids, that help prevent many diseases and illnesses. It has dietary fiber, so consuming just one orange a day provides ample fiber intake. One should include the white, thread like portion (albedo or pericarp) on the oranges, since that contains the highest amount of bioflavonoids, with anti-cancer agents as well. It also contains important substances like iodine, folic acid, pectin, potassium, calcium, sodium, manganese and iron, to name a few. Marshmallow Orange Fruit Dip Recipe

What You'll Need
  • Two tablespoons orange juice.
  • Grated orange rind of about half a tablespoon.
  • 7 ounces marshmallow crème.
  • Preferably Philadelphia cream cheese, or any good brand of full cream cheese (low fat for the health conscious).
Method of Preparation

Take either a nice big bowl, or pour in your ingredients into a blender on medium spin. First grate your orange rind, and pour in your orange juice. Use room temperature oranges, or rub it over the counter top to loosen up the juice, so that more of it comes out when you squeeze them. Use a juicer when removing orange juice, to make sure you get it all out. Fold in your marshmallow crème, and cream cheese, and blend it well, till the consistency is thick. Refrigerate the mixture, and then use it as you please on the side, to dip your choice of fruit in it, or toss it about in a fruit salad till all of it is lightly coated with the mixture.
