A new form of "music" today is being produced through the use of modern technology. The targeted market in which this product is geared to is familiar with this concept under the laymen terms as "beats". This modern form of creating music is ready to take the producing of music into the future and leaving the orthodox way of composing music in the past. With the different type of music software that is being sold, a person can now put together a song with music just like the people who own record labels in record breaking time and with the same quality.
This type of "music technology" is relatively unknown on a broader scale from a business aspect. Since this is a new concept, most people do not believe or understand what is being done. Ask a person "what are beats" and he or she would probably return a look of bewilderment. Once told what "beats" are, they would even be more shocked that the music was made in a bedroom on a computer. I believe that some have knowledge of this concept, but have not tried to take the concept beyond their immediate surroundings. Since this is a relatively new concept, most involved probably do not understand its capabilities.
If a person has a computer and can afford a "music software program", that person can create their own music studio. There are different types of "music software" at different prices. Also, it may take some time to grasp the concept, but once mastered, the producing of music will never be the same.
Once understood, people who learn the "in's " and "out's", or in other words, becoming familiar with how the process works will have the potential to control a substantial percentage of the "music technology" industry and the regular music industry as well, through sales in this country as well as throughout the entire world, where Internet access is available. Also, the commercial success of this venture is unpredictable due to its potential, which is unlimited due to the" targeted" market interest.
There are huge windfalls of profit to be made through this concept of "music technology". This economical approach to creating music will provide those whose once could not afford to pay the price for paying "bands" or "orchestras" to perform, or pay people to write or produce music, which sometimes could cost millions, will now be able to get the same "quality sound" of music for way less than "one" ever dreamed of. This new economical approach can be compared to an analogy of "Microsoft word" and the "Remington typewriter"; it's a new day in the music industry.
