Three killed, 20 injured in firing on train |

Three passengers were killed and 20 others sustained injuries when unknown armed assailants attacked Peshawar-bound Quetta Express near Mach town of Bolan district on Sunday afternoon. According to Pakistan Railways sources, the injured were rushed to nearby hospitals where some of them were stated to be in critical condition. The identity of deceased and injured passengers could not be ascertained immediately after the incident. Meanwhile, the ill-fated Quetta Express was brought to Mach railway station amid tight secruity. Frontier Constabulary, Levies and police parties arrived at the scene and launched search operation to arrest the culprits. |
